  • The McAuley High School child development classes will again offer a preschool program to area youngsters this winter and spring.Two sessions will be held, consisting of 10 classes each, and will be held in the mornings.One session begins on Feb. 19 and meets for 10 classes, ending on Apr. 27, from 9:20-10:40 a.m.The other session begins on Feb. 16 and meets for 10 classes, ending on April 28, from 10:10-11:30 a.m.The classes are planned and presented by McAuley students, under the supervision of Diane Gibson, teacher of the child development class. There is no charge for the program. To enroll a child in either session, please contact Diane Gibson at (513) 681-1800 x 2275.

  • Kiwanis is selling 2010 Entertainment Books for $20. If you are interested in purchasing a book, call John Rapach at 729-2971 or email him at johnrapach@fuse.net. Proceeds benefit a scholarship fund.
  • Waycross Home School Video Club gives area youth the opportunity to learn to think creatively while working with video equipment to create programs on topics of interest. Club members will learn all about video production and produce several videos that will be shown on local cable TV and online via our website at www.waycross.tv.

    The club meets every other Friday at 2 PM, starting August 28. Preference will be given to residents - non-residents may signup beginning August 21. Cost: Free for residents of Greenhills, Forest Park and Springfield Township, $20 for non-residents. To register for the club, visit http://www.waycross.tv/pages/club.shtml
