Springfield Township Proudly Participates in Great American Cleanup Day
2010 Great American Cleanup Day is Saturday, April 24
Springfield Township takes part annually in Keep America Beautiful's Great American Cleanup, the nation's largest community improvement program. Activities included beautifying parks and recreation areas, handling recycling collections, picking up litter, and planting trees and flowers.
*NEW THIS YEAR! Springfield Township will host a tire recycling dumpster on April 24th from 9:00a.m. to 12:00 noon. Drop off your old tires to 9150 Winton Road. (Open to residents only during these designated times.)

Volunteers Greatly Needed In Springfield Township
Volunteer! Make a difference in Springfield Township by volunteering a few hours of your time for the Great American Cleanup.
• Nominate a house, business, park or public area that needs repairs and/or clean up. email your suggestion now.
• Volunteer your time and assistance. email your name and telephone number to be added to the volunteer list!
• Organize a group of friends, co-workers, neighbors, church,or club to work together on a project.
• Call 522-1410 to be included in Springfield Township’s Great American Cleanup efforts.

Time of cleanup: 9:00 A.M. until 12 P.M.
• Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. with light breakfast offered
• Participants must sign a release of liability form
• Those under 18 years must have form signed by parent or legal guardian

• Pleasant Run Farm residents will meet at 9:00 a.m. at the PRF Swim Club, 11955 Elkwood Drive Contact Chip Berquist at 825-2429 to register in advance.
